The GayWest Café is open to all, so come and join us. First time visitors are made very welcome.
This is GayWest’s most popular event and is open every Saturday from 10.30am – 12.30pm at St Michael’s day centre, St Michael’s Place, Bath. BA1 1SG (next to the Little Theatre Cinema). Various coffees, teas, cakes and cold drinks are available.

GayWest Autumn Woodpecker Walk
Sunday 16th November 2025
Come and join us for our next Woodpecker Walk along country lanes and footpaths. A circular walk of 22,000 steps (approx 4 miles) on mainly level ground. Meet at 30 Woodpecker Close, Keynsham BS31 2FU at 11.00am. Returning later for refreshments.
GayWest Christmas Lunch
Wednesday 10th December 2025Come and join us for our Annual Christmas Lunch held at the Globe Tavern, Newton St. Loe, Bath BA2 9BB, arriving between 12noon and 12:30pm. Tickets will be £15 for members and £25 for guests or non-members.
Friends Ageing Better (FAB)
Whilst not part of GayWest, Friends Ageing Better is a community of older people who share what is happening in the city while building relationships with like-minded people who live locally. They hold meetings around Bristol and the following are LGBTQ+ orientated:
