The GayWest Café is open to all, so come and join us. First time visitors are made very welcome.
This is GayWest’s most popular event and is open every Saturday from 10.30am – 12.30pm at St Michael’s day centre, St Michael’s Place, Bath. BA1 1SG (next to the Little Theatre Cinema). Various coffees, teas, cakes and cold drinks are available. We will be open over the Christmas/New Year period.

GayWest Monthly Socials
Tuesday 25 August 2026We plan to go to the new Weatherspoons, based at the old Post Office in George Street. We meet at midday. Some of us have been there before and recommend it for good value food and the venue itself.
GayWest AGM
Saturday 26 September 2026This year’s AGM will be held during the Coffee Shop between 11:00 and 11:30.
Friends Ageing Better (FAB)
Whilst not part of GayWest, Friends Ageing Better is a community of older people who share what is happening in the city while building relationships with like-minded people who live locally. They hold meetings around Bristol and the following are LGBTQ+ orientated:
